Hindson-Atkinson Wedding

This past weekend I was so honored to be the lead planner for Amber and David's reception while my bosses, of Coordinated Weddings, were both out of town. Below are a few images I snapped before the night began at the venue (Grandover Resort). The reception's color scheme was champagne, nudes, and black, with subtle touches of shine. 

Besides being the lead planner, this was my FIRST time completely on my own with an assistant, carrying out a wedding reception! (Pat on the back!)

Coordinated Wedding & Events

After having an amazing internship with Coordinated Wedding and Events, I've been blessed with the opportunity to continue working with Summer and Susan Marie. My entire summer was full of wonderful memories, incredible experiences, and meeting new people. I could not have imagined a better practicum and I'm so happy to have gained new, lifelong friendships from it.

Parissa and Grey's Wedding

The uniting of Parissa and Grey took place at the groom's family home, in a beautiful wooded area. The ceremony took place in the shaded driveway cove with their closest family and friends. The reception was held under a tent on the families tennis court, close to a running creek, that added to the beauty of the outdoor scene. 

Tom & Mesha's Day

On June 16th, 2012, Tom and Mesha tied the knot at Castle McCulloch in Jamestown, North Carolina. The wedding was beautiful and full of family. Black, white, cream, and shades of purple and pink added to the classical scheme of the night. The couple had their children add in the uniting of two families by having a sand ceremony that combined all of their sands.

The start of my days that involve planning, always begin with a run to Starbuck's!

 The beautiful bride and groom, Taylor and Jake, had an amazing wedding in Gibsonville, NC at the United Methodist Church and the Diamond Room, downtown.

Jennifer & Jon McGraw

 

A beautiful, first wedding for interning! Jennifer and Jon McGraw had their ceremony and reception at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, NC. The color scheme was fuchsia, orange and ivory.

 My day started with gathering all the necessities to complete the decorations in the ballroom. Formal place settings, framed place tags, color-coated flags, and gorgeous center pieces accented the tables. A fun photo booth, colored spot lights, photo montage, and sparklers added the extra details to pull everything together for the couples special day.

First Wedding - Set Up

Today, April 29th, 2012, I was asked to help Susan Marie set up for a wedding at Graylyn International Conference Center in Winston-Salem. The site was incredibly gorgeous! I was shocked at the beautiful grounds and upon entering estate, the beautifully refinished interior is full of old world charm. The couple is having an intimate wedding of thirty guests with their ceremony outside in the "white garden" and reception in the "dining room wing".
