My first real attempt with using watercolors since I was in elementary school and I LOVED it! We had to pick 3 accessories on someone and explore the effect of light and shading on the item and their bodies. Skin color had to be the hardest thing to mix and try to make accurate. Other than that, it was so much fun seeing the final product and the variation in colors adds so much to the drawings and sketches. I can't to explore more.
Melanie- I love the colors and the way you were able to blend and make shadows. The folds on the scarf look really good! Also, the way you made Natalie's earring white was very interesting, it's like negative space almost which makes it look artistic and unique! good job! -Kacie
