Millennium Center Venue Tour

Today was the first day of beginning to attend meetings for my summer internship. The objective to todays meeting was to meet with the designer and photographers that would be helping put together a styled photo shoot in April for Coordinated Weddings and Events advertisement in Triad Weddings fall/winter magazine. Below are some pictures that I obtained from the Millennium Center's Facebook page and Simply Southern Photography.
Here is an overall night view of the beautiful venue from W. Fifth St. in downtown Winston-Salem. The building used to be the old post office, as well as a courthouse and even holding cells in the basement. Once, it even housed a bowling alley on the first floor. Need less to say, this building is extremely versatile!
Here is a view of the beautiful courtroom, set up as a location for the ceremony of the wedding.
An amazing panoramic view of the hallway and lobby area with the venue. On the front side of the building, the old mail boxes are still within the wall and were discussed as a unique, vintage spot of photographing. Incorporating, skeleton keys hanging from ribbon and name cards would make the photos more personalized too.
The image above is considered the "Millennium Ballroom", a huge focal point of the venue that could offer space for ceremonies, receptions, dinners, etc.  Behind the vertical sheers are rustic, exposed brick columns that they typically wrap with softer material for weddings.
Lastly, is a photo I found on their page of the lobby that captured the mailboxes on the left, arched windows on the right, and beautiful ceiling details.

Can't wait until next month, to be involved in the actual styled shoot!!
